Dartmoor / Ten Tors Day

A day out on the Moor.  You don’t have to be a super hero (although it helps) but a chance to get away from school, exams and more. Starting at Okehampton and ending at Postbridge it will be a steady 15 mile stroll down the moor in groups with your friends.  No strain whether you are part of next years Ten Tors teams for which this is an informal practice or just wanting a break and a chance to get out !

You will need to bring a daysac  with some basics  as a minimum detailed below and wear suitable clothing and hiking boots.

Waterproof top and trousers, hat, gloves, a good packed lunch, drinks bottle, and a change of clothing.  Basic safety gear/ navigational gear will be collected from the scout hut.
